Gore Vidal on the Demise of America as it was

Just finished reading an interesting interview with Gore Vidal (link in title), where he expands on why he thinks America is done for. It makes me want to get as far away as possible from that country. Like swimming away from a sinking ship... I fear that Canada might be taken down in the whirlpool when America completely self-destructs. I'm still afraid for this world, very, very afraid. But as one of America's presidents said, "There is nothing to fear, but fear itself."
