My dad's going in for surgery in June. With his condition (myotonic dystrophy), there's a greater than normal chance of complications... which include death. But there is good news. Since he's having his gall bladder removed, the chances of complications are much lower than if it were surgery above his abdominal region.
Nonetheless, it worries me. If you wouldn't mind keeping him in your thoughts, it'd be much appreciated, especially as June approaches.
